This is another giveaway that is dear to my heart! I was horribly bullied as a child and on into my teenage years. I sponsor a couple of kids here in my city that are bullied in school and help them find healthy ways of combating it. I hope you guys can go like this group and show your support for this cause that is so needed in the WORLD today. My bullying stopped after 9th grade, I finally went through puberty and was able to come back after a summer away and everyone thought I was a new student! I loved the attention but I never forgot that those same people who now wanted to be my friend had just been bullying and teasing me the year before. Now that I’m an adult I don’t allow it in my presence and have actually lost “friends” because I wouldn’t go along with them being cruel to other people, animals or homeless people. Bullying is terrible. It doesn’t just hurt physically, it hurts mentally more.

I think a root cause is the total lack of respect people have for each other. I also think it should be a zero tolerance with appropriate consequences.

There are so many issues with bullying these days. I just hope that teachers and students will start stepping forward and acting on what is going on in their classrooms. I’m sure it’s not true in every case, but I know a few situations where the bully at school, was getting bullied at home.
Hope all the awareness programs can actually help the bullied and the bullies.

I hate Bullies most of them turn out as inmates eventually.
