I had been in the market for a while for a portable sound system that I didn’t have to worry about changing batteries or having to bring cables with me. Then I found this amazing little stereo called the Soundfreaq “Sound Kick Audio System”. Now at first I thought there is no way this thing could produce good sound. But from the minuet I started playing with the controls on it I started to fall in love with the utter simplicity of the unit. It is easy to pair with a bluetooth device no complicated pairing here. It has a bass enhancement feature and an incredible 7.5 hour battery life. It also features an integrated USB port so you can charge your accessories while the unit is plugged in and if you don’t have bluetooth then it still offers the aux headphone jack on the back of the unit. Did I mention that this speaker system is less the 1.5 inches thick when closed and a little over 2 inches when opened up. It produces a nice full range of tones considering that all of the sound is produced by two 1.5-2 inch speakers. If your interested in checking them out I picked up mine from Target and at $99.99 it is the best sounding portable speaker system I have heard in a long time. I mean this little system out performs small systems from companies like Bose, Logitech, iHome, and even the Skull Candy Tube Speaker doesn’t compare.
