Ozeri sent me one of these amazing Eco pans to try and to give my opinion on it. When I got the box I imediately ripped into itand was super surprised at how big it was! My second impression was that it very light! A lot lighter then I was expecting it to be! My second thought was oh god, its going to be another one of THOSE pans that has a lot of hype but kinda sucks ya know? Boy Was I surprised!
I am a baker and chef by trade but when it comes right down to it there are very few pots and pans I like and trust to cook my food on. I won’t use most nonstick pans because of what they are made of.. Who wants that in their food? Not I! And I definitely don’t want it in my daughter’s food either. I try to always give her organic and healthy foods even though i do not eat the healthiest myself. So of course I was skeptical of this pan because I have used a lot of pans that claim to be durable, scratch resistant, and have a stick free surface but very few have actually lived up to that. These pans are one of a few that do. I literally tried to get food to stick to the surface and to my amazement it just kept sliding right off! I purposely burned a piece of cheese on this pan and left it till it was so gross and nasty looking that I thought for sure it would take an hour to scrape off! But no!! Boy was I surprised when I went to dump the cheese out and it slide right out! My next test was to fry an egg. With no butter or oil! And it slide right out of the pan! And was perfectly cooked! I was able to wipe the pan out with a damp paper towel and it looks exactly like it did when I took it out of the box.
As a plus there are very few no-stick pans out there that are induction burner safe and this is one of them. And it worked on my induction burner which means when I go on vacation I can bring it with me! (I love my induction burner too!) It is definitely one of the best pans I have used in it’s price range. I mean you can’t beat $38.95 for a pan that doesn’t let anything stick to it plus it is big enough to stir fry, fry, or braise anything you could want. And has now become my new favorite pan! (now I just need to get the lid!)
You can find them on facebook or on their website and you can also buy them on Amazon
If I figure out how to upload a video I will upload a video of my pan in action! But here are some pictures to show you just how BIG this pan is!

Sounds like a good buy! I can just imagine you in your kitchen, running your own infomerical, trying to get cheese or something to stick to the pan
“It just slides right off!”

I just bought a whole set of frying pans and they were advertised as no stick, but food still sticks to them. What is the website for this pan?

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006MXMWFA is where you can buy one. They have a set of three for like 98 bucks. Totally worth it in my opinion. I was using stainless steel with a copper core and the Orgreenic pan before this and trust me, this one is so much better! I literally left a piece of american cheese in the bottom of the pan for over an hour, the cheese was all burnt and gross but it slid right out of the pan!

I want one of these pans so badly! Why? It’s simple. I hate scrubbing my pans that are supposed to be non-stick. Hopefully I’ll be able to get this one soon!

Great review!! I want one of these pans now. I’d never heard of them before but they would be great for my husband who always forgets to grease any pan he uses.

I have been eyeing these pans. However, I’m concerned about the long term effects of using the materials they use. They claim they are safe, but since they’re “new” I wonder if we’ll find out in years that they’re a leading cause of cancer or something.

That is a legitimate concern, and I understand where you are coming from. From what I understand on the products they use, they have all been tested for toxicity levels to humans. You can always contact the company though and see if they can prove their claims about the ceramic coating
