Nokia N8 Phone Review

I have had this phone now for a little over a year and I still love it. True it doesn’t have a windows or android based operating system but what it does have more then makes up for it. First off let me start out by saying that if you love to take photos and video then this is the phone for you. It’s amazing 12 mega pixel camera with a Carl Zeiss Lens takes great pictures plus HD video. Phone

The phone also has it’s own photo editing software and video editing as well. You can hook it to your tv through HDMI and you can use it to control the image from the phone on the tv. Meaning you hook the phone to the tv and the camera on the phone tracks your movements in relation to where you are pointing on the tv and it will do the function on the phone. Essentially turning your tv in to one big touch screen.

The Nokia N8 also comes with some other cool features like a built in FM transmitter, over 16 GB of internal memory and you can add another 32 GB with the optional Micro SD slot. The speaker quality on the phone is nothing to turn your nose up at either. This phone has one of the loudest speakers I have heard on a phone in quite a while. And those of you who love “Apples” Personal Assistant app there is an app called “Vlingo” for the N8 that does almost the same thing just without the back talk. LOL

The phone has a GPS function as well that is free to use and update as long as they continue to update it. As an added bonus the phone says it is rated for 3G but I have found that with T-Mobile in some areas I will actually get 3.5G speeds and no this is not a typo (it really says 3.5 at the top). Over all I have never been happier with a phone. I look forward to some of the newer technology coming out but nothing has impressed me more then this phone. There are also no lack of Apps for this beauty as well.

P.S. This was the phone used by “Kevin Flynn” in Tron Legacy to hack the Encom mainframe and make the OS FREE like it should be.
